Two days. Real problems. Local solutions. The AI for Chiang Mai Hackathon brings together Thai developers, entrepreneurs, and global nomads to build AI tools that address genuine challenges facing Chiang Mai’s businesses and communities. Participants do not arrive cold, they have spent weeks inside the city, understanding its needs. What happens on stage is the output of that immersion.

  • Ian Borders, Event Lead. AI educator and workshop facilitator with deep roots in Chiang Mai’s tech and startup ecosystem.
  • George Siosi, Co-Lead (Conscious Technologist). Co-leads the AI for Chiang Mai residency track and confirmed speaker.
  • Khun Arm (NDEA), Community Bridge. Government-adjacent Thai stakeholder connecting the hackathon to local communities and participants.
